A personalised approach

1:1 Technique Refinement
for Working Artists

This training is designed for artists who are already working in the industry but feel that something in their technique isn’t quite working.

You may understand the theory, practise regularly and achieve beautiful fresh results — yet find that your healed results are inconsistent. Perhaps the pigment retention is unpredictable, you struggle with depth or pressure, your hand movement feels unstable, or you simply can’t identify what needs to change to achieve the result you want.

This is not a beginner course and it is not about starting again from the fundamentals.

It is a highly personalised 1:1 training built around your work, your technique and the specific problems you want to solve.

We analyse your previous cases, identify where things may be going wrong, work through your questions and then apply those changes together on a live model.

The training is tailored to your individual needs rather than following a fixed class programme.

Technique Analysis & Hands-On Training

Ideal if you want to identify and correct specific problems in your technique.

We begin by reviewing your questions and previous cases, including both successful and unsuccessful healed results. We analyse your technique and identify what may be affecting your outcomes.

We then work together on a live model, allowing me to observe your technique in real time and guide you through adjustments to hand movement, pressure, depth, speed, pigment implantation and overall workflow where relevant.

Includes:

  • In-depth review of your work and healed results
  • Theory and troubleshooting
  • Answers to your individual questions
  • Technique assessment and correction
  • Hands-on work on a live model under my supervision
  • Personalised recommendations based on your current skill level

Complete Case Mentoring — From Initial Treatment to Healed Result

This is the most comprehensive option and is particularly valuable for artists who are unhappy with their healed results and want to understand exactly what happens between the initial treatment and the final outcome.

Day 1 follows the same format as the one-day training: case analysis, troubleshooting, technique refinement and treatment of a live model.

Approximately one month later, we meet again to assess the healed result together. We analyse pigment retention, colour, saturation and any areas requiring improvement, then perform the correction/touch-up under my supervision.

This allows us to follow the same case from the initial treatment through healing and correction, rather than judging your technique only from a fresh result.

Built Around What You Need

Not every artist comes to advanced training with the same problem, so the programme does not have to follow one rigid format.

Depending on your goals, we can use the training to:

  • troubleshoot one particular issue in depth;
  • work with two different skin types — I recommend practising on both younger skin and mature, thinner skin to understand how your technique needs to adapt to each;;
  • compare techniques and approaches;
  • focus on difficult or mature skin;
  • review healed work and improve pigment retention;
  • or follow one client from the initial treatment through to the healed result and correction.

Your training programme is tailored around the areas where you need the most support.

Sometimes you don’t need another course. You need an experienced artist to watch you work and identify what you can’t see yourself.

How to Prepare

To make the most of your training, please prepare the following before your training day.

01 · Your questions

Bring the questions you want answered

Write down everything you would like to discuss — technique, equipment, needles, pigments, skin behaviour, healed results or anything else you are unsure about. We will work through your questions together.

02 · Your cases

Bring examples of your work

Prepare examples of both successful and unsuccessful work that you would like us to analyse.

Where possible, show the complete progression:

Seeing the complete progression allows me to identify patterns and better understand what may be affecting your healed results.
