Beauty marks last up to 1-3 years. The lasting period depends on the type of your skin (oily skin loses the pigment quickly) and your daily routine (some skin care products like retinol, swimming pools and hot pools, and sun exposure can help the skin get rid of the pigment quickly).

After the first session, the freckles usually heal to a soft, light result — similar to a gentle “winter freckles” look. If you have oily skin, the pigment may fade faster or even fail to retain fully. The best results are typically seen on normal or dry skin types. Once the skin has healed, we perform the second session about 4–8 weeks later to enhance the colour and add extra freckles if desired. This touch-up session usually takes around 40–50 minutes. After completing about three sessions, you can return later if you wish to add more density. Our goal is to avoid oversaturation or unwanted tones, so the pigment is placed very superficially using paramedical ink, which heals into a natural, sun-kissed freckle effect. To maintain your results, it’s important to avoid Vitamin C and retinol on the treated area, as these ingredients can cause the pigment to fade more quickly.

Healing Stages for Freckle Tattoos

First 4-5 days: The freckles will look bright and dark. Please don’t worry, this is normal and they will fade to look natural after the skin heals.

After 6-7 days: You may experience some minor flaking and the color may look super pale, or it may even disappear.

After 2-3 weeks: The color will start to return to the skin, but may still look not bold enough.

In 4 weeks: We will do a touch-up session, applying additional layers of pigment to achieve the required density and saturation.
