Inkless Scar & Stretch Marks Removal & Revision (ISR)

Inkless Scars and Stretch Mark Removal & Revision (ISR)

Scars, Stretch Marks, Burns

Professional inkless scar revision (ISR) and stretch mark treatment in Christchurch. At our private medical-grade clinic, this technique is used to improve skin texture, soften scar tissue, and prepare the area for further corrective treatments.

ISR is often the first step in treating more complex or raised scars, helping to refine the skin surface before advanced camouflage procedures. A combination of specialised serums — including saline, acid-based and glycolic solutions, as well as Nue Conceal formulations — may be used to support skin regeneration and improve overall results.

Suitable for scars, stretch marks, and areas of uneven texture, each treatment is tailored individually to achieve progressive, natural-looking improvement. Performed with a focus on healed results, treatments deliver refined outcomes trusted by clients across Christchurch and New Zealand.

Inkless Scars and Stretch Mark Removal & Revision (ISR) is a non-invasive cosmetic treatment aiming to improve the appearance of stretch marks and scars without using ink or pigment.

  • Prices vary depending on the amount and size of the area requiring ISR treatment. The average cost per session typically falls between $100 and $400.
  • The ISR treatment required up to 10 sessions, 4 to 8 weeks apart.

Can Keloid or Hypertroficscars be treated with Inkless Scar Revision tretment?
Unfortunately, Inkless Scar Revision treatment cannot be used for keloid scars. While this might be disappointing news, it's important to prioritize safety and effectiveness when treating scars. Keloid scars are known to be particularly sensitive and prone to worsening with certain treatments.
How many Inkless Scar Revision treatments are required?
The number of treatments needed for Inkless Scar Revision varies depending on several factors: Scar characteristics: Size, depth, age, and type of scar tissue all influence treatment needs. Skin type: Lighter skin tones typically respond better than darker ones. Medical conditions: Certain medical conditions may affect healing and treatment outcomes.
What do we use for ISR?

For ISR (Inkless Scar Revision), we work with a range of professional serums, including the bespoke NUE Conceal Regen and NUE Conceal Bright.

Depending on the scar tissue, we may also use other specialised options, such as:

Saline-based serums

Acid-based serums

Glycolic-based serums

✅ Serum selection is fully customised — we choose the most suitable option based on the scar type, texture, thickness, sensitivity, and how the pigment/tone behaves in that area.

Does ISR help with pigmentation?

Yes — pigmentation can be targeted using NUE Conceal Bright. You’ll usually see noticeable improvement after 2–3 sessions (results vary).

Can I get Skin Camouflage after Inkless Scar Revision treatment?
Absolutely! After we flatten the scar tissue and improve the overall texture of the skin, we can perfectly match the white scar to your natural skin tone using a technique called Skin Camouflage.
